You asked

Common questions from Jackson families

When should my child first see a pediatric dentist?
By your child's first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming in, whichever is sooner. This is the standard recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
What ages do you treat?
We see children from their first dental visit (typically age one) through teens, including patients with special healthcare needs.
Do you accept Healthy Kids Dental and Delta Dental?
Yes. We accept Healthy Kids Dental, Delta Dental, MetLife, and most major dental insurance plans. We also offer Tua Pay financing for out-of-pocket costs.
Where are you located?
At 3386 Spring Arbor Road, Suite 2, Jackson, MI 49203. Open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.
What should I do if my child has a dental emergency?
Call us immediately at (517) 787-1022. For a knocked-out permanent tooth the first 60 minutes are critical. We see same-day emergency appointments during business hours.
Do I need to be in the room with my child?
For first visits we encourage parents to stay in the operatory. As your child grows comfortable with us, that becomes their choice — but it's always your call.
